LeeAnn Pallett Smith is an Architect and lover of nature, pasta, and yarn.

She is working to specialize in public interest design that is environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable. She believes that locally informed design can most effectively address the pressing issues that we face as a global society.

+ Member of the Inundation 3 studio in Jakarta, Indonesia during the summer of 2013 and had collaborative work featured in an exhibition titled “#Inundation 3: Jakarta” at the Paul Cocker Gallery from October 20 - November 7, 2014.

+ Travelled extensively through southeast and south Asia in 2013.

+ Travelled to Cali and Medellìn, Colombia as part of a studio researching the informal communities of Colombia.

+ Acted as lead coordinator of ar.chi.tect* [redefined], a symposium organized by the Master of Architecture Class of 2015 and held on January 28, 2014 at the Design Exchange. The event was published in Canadian Architect, The Globe and Mail, and The Eyeopener.

+ Team member for “Hybrid Globe”, an installation for Scotiabank Nuit Blanche in October 2013.
